His study , on over five thousand individual speakers, belonging to various phases of their profession, has helped him gain insight on to ways, how one can excel at public speaking and communication.
In this talk David JP Philips displays a chart on various traits that a public speakers should adopt. The chart has been divided in five major categories namely voice, body language, facial expressions, language and Ultimate level. These presentation skills, as discussed in the talk are necessary to attract the audience and hook them up to what is being said . Furthermore David JP Philips talks about his five most favourite skills that according to him every person should excel in order to make an impactful presence , he begins with emphasizing on the importance of an open body language and moving toward the audience to help the public connect more to the person speaking .
