In this feature-length documentary , Marilyn Waring, who’s a feminist economist and activist for female human rights, former politician and a well known author. Marilyn Waring was best known for her book “If Women Counted” which published in some countries as “Counting For Nothing ” bring down the light upon a very pressing matter expressed in one word , which is “Economics ” by elucidating it as ethical value in which all positive activities and products are related only to their financial value. As a result, unpaid work mostly done by women is unnoticeable while tasks that is perhaps environmentally and socially destructive are considered productive. Furthermore Marilyn Waring create a blueprint of an alternative vision based on the idea of time as a new currency.
At one point in documentary , Marilyn Waring states that, “Economics is a tool of people in power and doesn’t allow for the introduction of values that don’t find their way into mathematical formulas ”, it means no value is recognized other than money. In the end of the documentary Marilyn Waring  also give the example of the Exon Valdez Oil spill which was the biggest environmental disasters of all time.
The film has inspired many people notably the who’s counting project , to work on human scale economic alternatives , local currency exchanges and more human ways of measuring the quality of life .
